TIG Welding Rod, Silicon Bronze, Low Fuming Flux Coated

A Low-Fuming Flux Coated Bronze is a quality, economically priced, low-fuming alloy used for maintenance, repair and fabrication applications. The flux coating provides excellent wetting action with no objectionable fuming. The porosity-free deposits yield excellent color match to the yellow brasses. Brazing repair and fabrication on steel, cast iron, copper, copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. May be used with standard oxy-fuel torch. A TIG rod can be used to weld steel, stainless steel, chromoly, aluminum, nickel alloys, magnesium, copper, brass, bronze, and even gold. TIG is a useful welding process for welding wagons, bike frames, lawn mowers, door handles, fenders, and more. Silicon bronze offers added strength in conjunction with the self-lubricity of silicon for excellent bearing and load properties. This is especially useful when silicon bronze is used for bearing cages, raceways and spacers specifically for the aerospace industry.
