The Multi-Grip POP brand rivet will serve in applications where different material thicknesses normally require several rivet sizes. This wide grip range capability permits design flexibility and reduced rivet inventory, which can result in substantial cost savings. These rivets are very tolerant of over-sized holes and are resistant to vibration. Applications: The dome head is appropriate for most applications. However, when soft or brittle materials are fastened to a rigid backing member, the large flange head should be considered, because it offers twice the bearing surface. Where a flush surface is required, the countersunk head style should be selected.
