Product Description:

Our Grade 304/304L Seamless Stainless Steel tubing conforms to ASTM A269, ASTM A514 and ASTM A511. Grade 304 Stainless Steel is the most versatile and most widely used stainless steel in the world. It was originally known as “18-8” Stainless Steel based on its Chromium/Nickel content. Its chemical composition, mechanical properties, weldability, formability and corrosion resistance provide the best all-round performance at a relatively low cost. 304L is the low carbon version of 304. Its low carbon content eliminates carbon precipitation in the welding process. It is most often used in Heavy Gauge components. 304L is annealed making it easier to bend without cracking. It is used in a wide range of products across many different industries. 304 and 304L in many cases are dual certified, as both Grades have similar properties and composition.
