Mar Resistant Polycarbonates, known by the trademarked names LEXAN® MR-10, Makrolon® and others, are a particular group of thermoplastic polymers. We stock and distribute Mar-Resistant Polycarbonate product from both aforementioned manufacturers. Mar-Resistant or Scratch Resistant Polycarbonate Sheets have an abrasion and UV resistant coated surface. The coated surface also helps to prevent against yellowing, breakage and weathering. Mar-Resistant Polycarbonates find many applications including, space and sports helmets, clear high performance windshields, aircraft canopies, signage, residential vertical glazing, hurricane protection, sound barriers and bullet resistant windows.
